What is Coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative relationship where the coach helps you to identify and live into your goals. Coaching provides support, challenge, powerful questions, accountability, and an environment where you can listen deeply to yourself. Coaching assumes that you are creative, resourceful, and whole, and that you already have what you need to flourish and live your best life. Coaching just helps you to go farther faster.
How long does coaching take?
A single session is forty-five minutes long. I encourage you to commit to a package of four sessions, as it takes a little time to see the benefits of change that coaching can bring to your life and work.
The length of the coaching relationship varies from client to client. We’ll work together to set your own agenda, get clear on what you want to work on, and go from there. You may choose to schedule just a few sessions to help with a specific skill, and leave it at that. In other cases, you may decide to continue the coaching sessions as you find that the regular process of reflection, review, and redirection helps you to achieve consistent growth and improvement.
Most of my clients tend to stick around for years, but you’re welcome to take advantage of my services for any length of time that suits you.
How much does coaching cost?
A single, forty-five minute session costs $150.
The cost of an initial coaching package is $400 for 4, forty-five minute sessions. With many of the clergy clients I serve, this cost is covered by their congregation, or by their professional development allowance. Other clients choose to pay for the coaching themselves because they’re just tired of feeling anxiety and burnout when it comes to their ministry, and they’re eager to get back to a place of joyful service. You are worth the investment in yourself!
